Intended explicitly for powerlifting and to match IPF specs, the Powerlifting Bar is designed for people whose three favorite words are squat, bench, and deadlift.

IMPORTANT: For bare steel barbells, we take extra precautions to reduce any oxidation/rusting while in storage and transit by coating the barbell in oil but small rust spots may be visible when you receive it. Clean it with some simple green cleaner and a BBQ brush, then wipe dry with a microfiber cloth. Click here for a how-to video and How To Clean a Bare Steel Barbell.
For cerakote-coated barbells, use Nylon brushes or microfiber towels only! Avoid abrasive metal-to-metal contact from tight-fitting collars, weight plates, un-lined landmine attachments, and j-cups, to preserve that beautiful rust-resistant finish for years to come!

My experience so far with this bar has been great. Slightly aggressive knurling has been amazing for my deadlifts and low bar squats and shipping time was also very fast

Have not used the item yet. The first bar that was shipped to me had rust all over the handles so I had to ship it back to be replaced with a new one. The 2nd bar came in with the packaging damaged and sure enough the handles still had rust. Putting in a three star because I am just neutral with the review since I haven’t used it yet. Megan from the customer service team has been helping me with the returns/replacement and she has been a big help with the process. I am just frustrated since I dont want to keep on re-sending the bars and getting rusty ones again. Dont want to do a refund since the bar is actually one of the best bang for your money out there.
