The new replacement cables are great. The new end design is 1000 % better than original cables. The old cable system had a rubber washer to hold the ball against the end of the cable, this worked for a while but eventually the washer would wear out. The washer would then move down the cable followed by the ball and this would cause a bang when the cable end slide back into the ball when the cable retracted. The nice smooth system would have that jarring bang each time the cables retracted how annoying and I could see cable end damage in the near future.

Anyone that’s buying replacement cables had a problem with the original equipment. Mine frayed after a year. I don’t lift heavy.

The cables and cable tower are fantastic products. Easy to assemble for 1 person within 2 hours following the helpful youtube assembly video. Great customer service as well, was able to get a quick correction for some duplicate deliveries.
