Listen, buddy - I get it. You never thought that you'd need smaller weight plates than 2.5lbs. After all, change plates cover your bases pretty well already.

But haven't you wondered why your arm and shoulder strength always lag behind? Sure, these are smaller muscle groups than those in your legs. But their lack of progress mostly boils down to getting pummelled by the same loading scheme used to progress squats and deadlifts, by adding 2.5-5lbs per side.

Instead of forcing 5-10lb jumps on overhead presses and biceps curls, these lifts should be loaded in a more sensible way - by adding weight in smaller increments of 1-4lbs.

Fractional cast iron plates that fit Olympic barbells, with a guaranteed weight tolerance of +/-16 grams.


IMPORTANT: Because they're cast iron instead of machined, some minor blemishes, +/-16 gram weight tolerance & 51mm hole are standard for them.

    Great Ninja Hex for Breaking your Weightlifting Plateaus

    I decided to get these Ninja weapon to further my work out progress. The pieces are well made and fit well my Bare Naked Steel Barbell and EZ curl barbell from Bells of Steel. It really helps push the envelope when you are near your current lifting ceiling. Weight accuracy is lower than the calibrated plates but are within reasonable range based from the weight range obtained from my digital weighing scale I have (that I normally use to weigh my food intake with). I marked the weights of each plate and matched the ones close to each other so that I can optimize their pairing when I use them. Great value for my money. I am giving these 5 stars since these get the job done at a great low price.

    Fractional Iron Plates are just what I needed!

    These plates are great, especially if you are between lbs in difference, where one set is too light & the next set up is too heavy. I also have a Smith Machine & the bar weighs 13 lbs, so I put two plates on each side to make it an even 15 lbs to figure out my weights. I love these little plates!!

    Great for pushing through plateaus

    If your aim is to consistently progress your strength, these are a great addition to your lifting arsenal. The 0.5lbs helps you move up in weight consistently without feeling too much immediate pressure. Helping you progressively get stronger without risking injury by progressing too quickly.
