The steel balls at the tip have slowly popped out over time and the Knurling eats into the attachment point. It would be nice if the bottom was beveled a bit. Otherwise it grips well and decently priced.

I bought both the long and short versions, but tend to prefer using 2 short pins in place of 1 long one. This may be because, on my rack, the cables can interfere with access to the holes, and you might now have such an issue on your set up.
That said, both are beautiful, high quality, and have enough magnetic pull to stick, but not so much that you have to fight to remove them. I've tried other brands' mag pins, and these are my favorite.
