A mismatched pile of cast iron says you bought whatever was on sale. A clean ladder of identical bells says you're actually training. Competition kettlebells aren't just a step up in quality; they're a completely different class of tool.
Here's the thing nobody explains until you've already bought the wrong bell: the size never changes. 11" / 280 mm tall, 8.2" / 210 mm across, same on the 12 KG, same on the 32 KG, same on the 48 KG. The wall gets thicker as the weight goes up. The bell doesn't. So when you move up in weight, it sits in the same spot on your forearm and lands in the same place on the floor. Every time.

TWO HANDLE SPECS. BOTH COMPETITION CLASS. These bells meet legal Girevoy Sport Union (GSU), IKFF, and International Union of Kettlebell Lifting (IUKL) standards. The 10-48 KG bells run a 60 mm window and 35 mm handle, the required international competition size, built for a relaxed grip and zero knuckle cramping. The 4, 6, and 8 KG step to a 58 mm window and 34 mm handle, sized for beginners and smaller hands. A 12-year-old on the 6 KG and a lifter chasing rank on the 32 KG are holding the same class of bell, just sized to their hands.
GRAVITY CAST. ONE PIECE. NO WELDS. No seam, no filler packed in to hit a number. The core is hollow, which is why the weight sits where it should and why there's nothing rattling around inside.

UNMATCHED WEIGHT ACCURACY. ±200 g / 0.44 lb on every bell from 10-48 KG. ±100 g / 0.22 lb on the 4, 6, and 8 KG. Our own powder coat line runs ±300 g. Most of the competition publishes nothing at all, which is its own kind of answer.

I've been buying competition kettle bells from Bells of Steel since they opened their warehouse pick up location over a decade ago. My wife and kids have started using them as well. I’ve never liked lifting traditional weights and the dynamic movements used in KB exercises have given me the best gains I ever achieved. I have used KB’s from other companies and thev’ve had polished handles which were slippery and obviously not up the same quality as Bells Of Steel. I cannot recommend their products enough.

Overall very happy with these; they’re an excellent addition to my home set up. Handle dimensions and balance are great. Three comments about the coating; one neutral and two small issues.
Neutral: The coating is a bit slicker than other bells I have and I’m not sure which I prefer yet
Issue 1: The transition from coating to bare metal is a bit sharp; I notice it during curls and swings and would prefer a smoother transition.
Issue 2: There are a few cosmetic defects on one of the kettlebells; doesn’t impact the workout but ideally wouldn’t be there.

Been using for a couple weeks now. I love the hollow core. Weight seems evenly distributed. The color is much different than the online pictures and I was very pleased when I opened the box to find a nice green color and NOT a Scratch! The actual color coating is much thicker than some of my other KB’s. Packaging was awesome. Double boxed with strong tape. The handle is bigger (about 2mm) than my other KB which is fine, helps with grip and will increase forearm strength. My only bone to pick was the actual handle. It had a few high points that could potentially rip into hand. Reached out to customer service and they helped me with instructions on how to smooth it out. I personally am not used to the window opening of the KB, but I assume it is similar to others on the market. Just keep training! If you’re on the fence just buy one, you won’t regret it.

I bought a couple of Competition Bells from Bells of Steel to check them out. I was very happy with them once I got home, so I ordered a full set up. They are high quality Kettlebells made to Sport standards with great balance. The BoS Competition Kettlebells are a great investment for anyone getting into kettlebells and Pro’s alike. I love the Kettlebells and they are the main focus of my garage gym but I also love that I can take them to the yard, in my home or on a road trip. The portability of the Kettlebells make it a must have for anyone serious about staying active and fit.
