Moderate knurling and a beefy 2000lb capacity make this power bar a pleasure to use for newbies and seasoned pros alike. Feel free to use this for some (peaceful) after-hours solo sessions. We won't tell if you don't.

    Love my Hydra!

    I decided to pull the trigger and upgrade my old barbell. It was a decent bar but had minimal knurling and because I am old, had a hard time seeing, or even feeling the rings it had for lifting.

    I am a novice lifter folks, but I love this bar. Knurling is perfect. Excellent grip but doesn't chew you up. The rings are excellent easy to see, easy to feel. I especially appreciate the center ring, I had a tendancy to lose the middle of my old bar and lifted all wacky because of it. I bought the color version cause I think it looks dope, and there is no room for error for whatever lift you want to do. Veteran lifters will might shake their heads at the rings, the color, the center ring, but for me it makes a big difference.

    Great solid bar, great spin, great collars (ribbed, which I dont mind at all). I'm a fan boy now.....the video of it is just as I unpacked it. No issues and was in perfect condition as it was packaged very well.

    Hydra Seven Ring Bat

    I’m very satisfied with this bar. It helps me train my beginners and helps them with proper hand placement on the bar, to ensure proper form and technique. It’s actually well made and a quality product.

    7 ring bar

    Good bar. Knurling is aggressive and gives great grip but doesn’t destroy my hands with deadlifts . I thought the shorter sleeve length would limit the amount of weight I can put on but I can easily load it up with more than 500 lbs of bumper plates - more than I need. It feels really well balanced when squatting. So far the bar has been great.

    Nice bar!

    For the money this bar is hard to beat. I love the 7 rings, knurl is phenomenal, and I knew bare steel would have a much better feel than any other finish. I have been critical of BOS in the past on some of their Knurling (knurl on curl bar attachment for functional trainer was almost nonexistent) but this bar delivered!
