The Hydra Rack with Crossover Cable Towers setup featured on Instagram has become an instant classic. Here's everything you need to ctrl+c and ctrl+p this beauty.
Let's start with the easiest way to get this iconic setup in your home gym: getting the Hydra Trident Station. That's right—we did all the hard work for you. All you need to do is select your height, choose which of the pictured attachments you want, and voila! You've got a one-stop shop for hiding from your problems hitting your fitness goals.
Already have a Hydra at home? No sweat; follow the steps below to build out your DIY Hydra Trident Station. The setup shown in this image features a Four Post Hydra Rack with 84" uprights, a 43" width, and a 24" depth. As the Hydra is ultra modular and customizable, you can make this setup work with almost any Hydra rack though it might look a little different. To create this setup as-is, you'll need the following:
- 1 x Hydra Globe Pull-Up Bar with 43" Crossmember
- 1 x Hydra Logo Plate Crossmember
- 1 x Pair of Hydra Spotter Arm Safeties
- 1 x Pair of Hydra Sandwich J-Cups
- 2 x Cable Tower With Weight Stacks & Back Uprights*
- 6 x 24" Hydra Crossmembers**
*When you navigate to the cable tower page, select the "or customize your cable tower" link under the add to cart button. This will lead you to a dropdown where you can select "Cable Tower with Back Upright."
These attachments are 84" tall. **24" Crossmembers are featured in this product image to attach the cable machines to the rack. You can also choose 30" or 43" crossmembers if you want more space.
