We have partnered with a fantastic 3PL warehouse provider in the greater Melbourne area. We spent a lot of time making sure we selected the perfect partner for us, who would be best at handling our challenging goods. They are specialists at packing and shipping large, bulky items, as well as providing an excellent local pickup experience. Most of our products come pre-packaged in high-grade durable cardboard, with reinforced tape to help prevent damage and losses while in transit.

Next Day Shipping

Our team and partner works hard to maintain 1-day order processing. When you order from us, you can count on your order being shipped by the next business day. During peak season (November-January and June) we aim to maintain next day shipping, but high order volumes can result in an additional delay of 3-5 business days.

Large orders going by freight carriers take an average of 1 day longer to ship. 

$199 Max Shipping Policy

Gym equipment can be big and incredibly heavy, and shipping that equipment across the world’s sixth-largest country isn’t easy. If you’ve looked at our competitors, you’ve probably noticed some insanely high shipping costs popping up in your cart. Our $199 Max Shipping cost policy is designed to help our Australian friends get the big, heavy equipment they need right to their door at the lowest shipping cost in the industry. If you are located in NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, ACT or TAS, select $199 Max Shipping at checkout to cap your shipping costs at $199*. If your shipping costs are less than $199, you will have the option to select the lesser amount. You may sometimes see rates provided for Ground and LTL - choose the lowest cost option as there is no difference to how they will be shipped.

*Unfortunately, this does not apply to WA or NT

Carriers

We use a combination of Direct Freight Express, our Melbourne partner’s local delivery fleet, Australia post, and other local carriers for our shipments. Your order may ship by one of these, even if at checkout it states another carrier. Please note we can ship smaller products to P.O. boxes, but most of our products (such as barbells/racks) are outside of Australia Post’s size limits and you will need to provide an alternate address. We should have shipping rates for all locations, including NT and WA remote locations. If you cannot get a shipping quote for your shipping address, please contact support@bellsofsteel.au and we will get you a manual quote.

Hold Order Requests

At your request, we will hold your order up to a maximum of two weeks from the day it is placed. This means that your order will be marked as “paused” in our fulfillment system and will not resume processing until the day before you want it shipped. Requests for holding orders for more than 14 calendar days will not be accommodated. Please note that while your order’s fulfillment is paused, item(s) can continue to sell out. If you do not want to risk your item(s) going out of stock, we encourage you to not request that your order be placed on hold. To request a hold, put in the order notes that you are requesting a hold, and also provide the date you want the order shipped.

Lost Items

If your order is lost in transit, Bells of Steel will work with the carrier to find it and send it to you before sending a new replacement.

If after 14 business days we are unable to find your order, we will ship another at no extra charge or refund you in full.

Damage & Defects

While we take great care to ensure your order is packaged securely and thoroughly inspected before it leaves our facility, occasional damage during shipping or rare manufacturing defects may occur.

We strongly recommend inspecting the packaging and product prior to signing for delivery, when applicable.  We also recommend you take clear photographs of the external packaging, product, and purchase order (PO).

In the event of a defect or shipping-related damage, providing these images will significantly streamline the claims process. As a token of appreciation for your diligence, we’ll issue a $10 store credit when photos of the PO and packaging are submitted with your claim if your product requires a replacement or a refund.

International Shipping

International shipping to nearby countries like New Zealand is only available through a custom quote. You can get this by emailing support@bellsofsteel.au

Customs/duty charges, tax, or other additional charges on international roders are covered by the customer. The 30-day money-back guarantee is not included for international orders.

International Returns

International customers will be responsible for paying all shipping and duty costs to receive their product and return it.

International Customs Duties

International customers are responsible for understanding the duties they need to pay, and paying all import duties on their orders. Failure to pay required duties will result in the order not being delivered to the customer and this will not lead to any refund from Bells of Steel.

International Warranty Issues

For issues where a product does not meet the warranty, Bells of Steel will evaluate the cost of shipping out replacement pieces, and can decide to either:
-Refund the customer a fair amount to compensate for the issue
-Ship out replacement parts at Bells of Steel Australia’s costs
