BRING YOUR OWN BAR — OR DON’T
Choose your weapon! Grab the dedicated Smith Bar for an easy, permanent solution for all exercises. Or, pick the BYOB version and throw your barbell into the clamshell brackets. It’s like building your own gaming PC, but for badass grown-ups who lift heavy sh*t.
-
TINY, SPACE-SAVING FOOTPRINT
No need for a standalone strength machine. This attachment can be mounted inside your rack for massive space savings. Or attach it to the outside, sitting just 10" off your uprights! This saves room for more important things — like perfecting your front double-biceps pose.

MAXIMIZE MUSCLE & STRENGTH
Thanks to its fixed bar path, you won’t waste a single morsel of energy stabilizing the bar, allowing you to lift heavier weights AND build more muscle. Plus, the easy-to-use safety catches let you train to failure safely without a spotter. That’s right! No more calling Mom for help.

BREAKING NEWS: the stigma against Smith machines is over! This Smith Machine Rack Attachment will supercharge your size & strength in an ultra-compact footprint. Now, if only mullets would come back in style…
This widely compatible unit upgrades your 3” x 3” power rack into a beloved bodybuilding beast without the hefty price tag or space requirements.
Bring your own 25-30mm diameter barbell (BYOB) for a higher starting weight and to optimize the attachment for your next training cycle. Or, snag the hollow 36lb Smith bar for an easier assembly & one-and-done solution for all exercises. With a 600-pound total weight capacity, it’s ready for your heaviest ambitions.
Mount this rack attachment on the inside of your rack without taking up any additional footprint in your gym, or attach it to the outside — sitting just 10" off your uprights! Change between a straight or angled bar path with a few simple adjustments to the mounting brackets, making its fixed path feel as natural as possible for your body.
Hit all the staple lifts: squats, presses, rows, and Bulgarian split squats (why are they ALWAYS here?!). But that’s just the start. Incorporate heavy negatives on compounds. Isolate individual muscles with JM presses. You can even rehab stubborn aches in your posterior chain with single-leg Romanian deadlifts.
Recommended Set-Up: Mount the upper brackets to the top of your uprights & the lower brackets to your crossmembers (inside rack) or front foot stabilizers (outside rack). Brackets can be mounted to your uprights only, but a dropped bar could permanently damage the unit.
BoS Rack Compatibility: Both versions are compatible with Hydra & Manticore racks that are 72", 84" & 90" in height with a 49" in width, but the Smith Bar version is incompatible with 47" widths. On 72" heights, the Smith fits only on the outside of your rack with the brackets mounted on the lowest & highest points of your uprights (requires your pull-up bar to be moved & results in a slight inclined bar path). The Smith machine is also compatible with the Flat Foot racks; however, it requires a set of extra-long bolts and bushings — we will offer these as a variation for purchase. Additionally, the Smith BYOB or regular bar machine fits on the 84-inch Light Commercial Rack when placed on the inside and at an angle but requires the top cross members to be lowered one hole. Both versions are incompatible with Folding racks.
Non-BoS Rack Compatibility: The Smith attaches to most non-BoS power racks with the following: 3" x 3" tubing, 84-90" height, and 5/8" or 1" side holes (check the images with the bracket & square for precise measurements).
