The uprights measure true 3″ x 3″ which is EXACTLY 76.2mm x 76.2mm, instead of the typical 75mm x 75mm uprights of other brands’ imported racks. By matching the same tubing specs as many of our American competitors, you can mix and match attachments freely without needing to stick to one brand — hello, open ecosystem! 
You can even side-mount your 5/8″ attachments (as long as they’re destined for true 3″ x 3″ tubing) using the side keyhole slots; perfect if you prefer the more economical Hydra rack attachments, now that’s a fairy tale come true!
Built with modular components, so you can expand later into a larger Manticore rack to accommodate a new home gym space or team workouts with your swolemate.

    Edges out the competition for the price.

    So I made a cluster of purchases from Bells, and it all started with me choosing this rack. The hardware is all quality, and the features are similar to what the competing folding full-racks offer. As I say in the title, the price of a spec'd out manticore was roughly $100-$200 less expensive than the other option I was aware of , but with standard laser-cut hole numbers.

    The competing rack now offers several upgrades as standard, but the manticore with the addition of those parts still comes out on top.

    I've been squatting in my new rack for about two weeks now, and I'm impressed by the quality of all of the Bells pieces I've received. Assembly was a breeze, and I would 100% recommend looking at a manticore rack as a real option if you're shopping around right now.
