I ordered 2 pairs of 25lb plates and one pair of 10s, and they're all within the 1% tolerance. I give them 5 stars on that front. One of the 10lb plates has a small manufacturing defect, but it's no big deal. The 2 25lb pairs shipped separately, and they both arrived in pretty beat up packaging. The first package was literally falling apart. The second was just beat up and tearing. 3 of the 4 25s ended up with chipping from the rough delivery. I'm overall very happy with them, but i have to withhold a star for all of the chipping. It's unclear if this was UPS's fault or if they just needed better packaging.

I’ve slowly been upgrading my home gym to bells of steel products because of the quality and my gym is in my home so we need it to look good! So far I’ve upgraded my plates to 490lbs of the grey machined plates, the FID bench and the 50-100-150-200lb sand bags and everything has been amazing! It’s also nice supporting a Canadian company instead of marketplace scalpers. Next on the list is a new bar and rack

I was in the market for some new plates that would have better accuracy to the displayed weight as my old ones were not close. After looking around online I settled on the Bells of Steel Machined 45lbs plates. I wish I could have gotten these when I first started building my gym.

I made an order for 6 sets of 45’s and did pick up. The custom set options helped to knock some of the cost down. Attending to pick them up was easy and seem less. Plates were packed well and I don’t believe there was any damage from where they are manufactured to the store.

I found the solid grey to not be the best looking but I did buy some oil markers and coloured the letters.

There was some marks and blemishes on the plates which seemed to be during manufacturing.

The main reason I wanted these plates was due to the claim that their advertised weight is extremely close with not costing competition plate prices. Bells of Steel nailed this out of the park. In weighing all 12 plates they all had a weight of 45.2lbs. On the bar the weights don’t have a lot of play or movement and I have found this makes deadlift a lot quieter even with all the plates on the bar.

I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend these plates for people building a home gym for general fitness or for people who are looking to compete in weightlifting sports. I will be looking to get some some sets of 25-2.5 lbs plates in the future.
